Gynosporin 2% Vaginal Cream is a medication used for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by bacteria, including bacterial vaginosis. It contains two active ingredients: neomycin sulfate and polymyxin B sulfate. These are antibiotics that work by killing the bacteria causing the infection. The cream is applied to the inside of the vagina using an applicator provided with the medication. It is usually used twice a day for 7 days.
