Mixel DS 200mg/5mL suspension is a medication used to treat bacterial infections. It contains a combination of two antibiotics: amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic, while clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that helps prevent the breakdown of amoxicillin by bacteria that produce beta-lactamase enzymes. This combination makes Mixel DS effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.
